An unexpected health development that landed me in the hospital and in surgery (on April 1 no less) has kept me away from writing here at Anatomy of Perceval. Recovery has been rough, including a trip to the ER. I hope now that I’m finally on the mend and will return next weekend to my usual writing schedule. I’ve missed my weekly blogging and hearing from my readers!

I remember being rushed to the hospital. It took them seven hours to see me, and this was my second trip in five days. Would you believe I had a ruptured appendix. No fun! I pray you are doing okay. Take it easy and don’t put too much too soon.
Take care and God Bless,
Jan
Thanks, Jan, for your good wishes. Clearly the ruptured appendix episode came out OK since you’re here today! (smile) Usually if you arrive at the ER by ambulance, you get in right away; but if you arrive on your own, you can wait a while. I’ve experienced both. I’m slowly returning to my usual routine. Thanks!
