Welcome to Anatomy of Perceval. If you love suspense, social science fiction, political thriller or “future history” novels, and if you’re curious about creative writing, classical music, orchestra conductors, and the professional writing life, I hope you’ll be my guest here regularly and tell others to visit.
The Perceval series consists of five novels set in a near future Europe and America with the same protagonist, American orchestra conductor Evan Quinn. The novels blend genres: espionage, social science fiction, psychological suspense, and crime on an international stage. I post regular updates on my writing progress and occasional musings on challenges or problems I encounter, the writing life, conductors, and other ideas, thoughts, concerns and experiences related to writing and the novels.
I will also post about my other writing projects, i.e. short stories, essays, and nonfiction projects and their related challenges and, I hope, successes. I will also occasionally write book and movie reviews that relate to writing, the writing life, or storytelling.
Feel free to leave constructive and friendly comments. I’d love to hear from all my readers, and especially from musicians, conductors, others in the classical music business, fellow writers and friends. Enjoy!

Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wished to say that I have truly enjoyed browsing your blog posts. After all I’ll be subscribing to your rss feed and I hope you write again very soon!
Thanks, Edna! Hope you return soon!
I stumbled onto your blog when I was researching a guest conductor with the Buffalo Philharmonic. I spend a lot of time with playing the classical guitar. I am interested to read your works and I will let you know more as I explore. So I am new to blogging and WordPress. Just give me a little more time to navigate. I also have a passion for writing.
Cheers on your wonderful style and easy access to your thought process.
When I was teaching with a newly formed Delta School for Change called Tapestry Charter, we used the practice of reading our work aloud and also having our reading partner read our work aloud to us. Amazing perspectives occurred!
Thanks for your comment! I love your header photo on your blog. Gorgeous. You are welcome here any time. I write about writing, my Perceval series of novels, and classical music.
Well, what a great combination: writing and classical music. I will feel at home here.
Thanks, Elissaveta! I hope you return often. I usually post once a week on Saturdays…..(smile)
